According to BBC Sports, the Premier League club, Watford has appointed the former Leicester manager, Claudio Ranieri as their new manager on a two-year contract. Watford sacked their former manager, Xisco Munoz on Sunday after a 1:0 defeat by Leeds United last weekend.
Watford new head coach won the English Premier League for Leicester City in the 2015-16 season which shows his managerial capabilities in the premier league. Watford appointed the Italian to improve their league form as they sit 15th after taking seven points from seven games.
Although Claudio Ranieri has a wealth of experience in the Premier League, below is the reason why he might also be sacked after his next six EPL games this season.
Claudio Ranieri's Watford will face tough teams in their next six premier league games. On 16th they will host Liverpool, while their other games will be against, Everton, Southampton, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Leicester City. A poor performance to these strong fixtures might seem to the sack of the newly appointed manager as he might not get a point in these six fixtures. Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Leicester City would be hoping to continue their winning form when they face Watford.
Trying to adapt to the new club is another reason why he might get sacked after his next six EPL games. Claudio Ranieri is new to the club and might love to adapt to the club, thereby losing to these top clubs which might send them into the relegation zone. No club keeps a manager that loses a match as it might send the new manager packing.
I advise the Watford new boss should implore his tactics to get a point in his next six games for Watford or might be sacked. Use the comment section to share your opinions.
