British heavyweight boxer, Tyson Fury has called on fellow Briton boxer and Nigerian-descent Anthony Joshua to call it quit with boxing should he be defeated in his rematch with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
With the fresh memory still lingering in the heart of many that Anthony Joshua recently lost his WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles to the cruiserweight king in their last fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after 12 rounds of bout on unanimous decision.
Consequent to his second shocking defeat in his professional boxing career, the 31 years old activated his rematch clause with the Ukrainian meastro just like he did two years ago against Andy Ruiz where he reclaimed his lost titles after losing out in the first place.
Tyson Fury who is to take his trilogy fight as mandated by court against Deontay Wilder this Saturday and expected to face Anthony Joshua in the coming year, is now of the believe that his fellow Briton boxer should resign from the world of boxing if he is beaten by Oleksandr Usyk for a second time.
Tyson Fury in an interview ahead of the most awaited trilogy fight in Las Vegas this weekend made it known that if Anthony Joshua failed to beat Oleksandr Usyk in his rematch, it means he's finished and should just consider retiring because he needs to win the fight irrespective of any circumstance.
The rematch for this fight is very much on course and most likely to take place in Ukraine as agreed by the two parties with the enthusiasm to get things fixed up ahead of the mouthwatering £500m fight between the two Britons.
Anthony Joshua who promised to be back better and stronger in the ring will now be optimistic to get a win over Usyk to reclaim his titles and maintain his road to undisputed.
