Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, during his interview with TVC News, when asked if he would join the APC if they approach him, noted that he would never be a member of the APC. He said;
“I am not a member of the APC, and I would never, I Ayo Peter Fayose, would never be a member of APC. My respect for Asiwaju does not now turn me to become an APC member, and my believe that we as leaders must say the truth. I don't jump from one party to the other, that's not my style. At This age what do I want, I can't be president of Nigeria again, what am I looking for, that would make me, do I want to use APC as a platform to contest for election?. My son contested in the last House of Reps. So am I going to be struggling with my son again? Not in these days obi hurricane”.
