INEC Uploads Jigawa Results On iREV Portal As Imo Results – PDP

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) transferred results from Jigawa State to Imo State on Sunday, February 26, 2026, according to information provided by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State.

The PDP claimed that INEC in Imo switched the results from the three other local government areas, specifically Aboh Mbaise, Oguta, and Ehime Mbano, where the PDP won by more than 80% of the total votes cast, with the actual results from those three local government areas.

This was stated in a statement provided to LEADERSHIP that was signed by the state publicity secretary, Hon. Collins Opurozor.

Creating fictitious results for locations where elections weren't held was the initial stage, according to the press release. Ihube, Agbobu, Umuowaibu, Aku, Umulolo, Ogii, and Amuro Wards in the Okigwe LGA did not have elections. But, Imo State INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner Prof. Sylvia Agu provided the election materials for the areas to Senator Uzodinma's agents.

"APC ultimately benefited from the results. The state INEC, which is run by Prof. Agu and is extremely corrupt and polluted, approved and declared these falsified results. We've never been handled so horribly by INEC during an election in Nigeria's history!

"The worst happened in three more local governments, Aboh Mbaise, Oguta, and Ehime Mbano where PDP won with more over 80% of the votes cast. Jigawa State results were transported to Imo State, where they were substituted with the actual results from the voting locations dispersed among these three LGAs by this morally bankrupt INEC. The Jigawa findings were then sent to iREV Portal on Sunday, February 26th, 2026.

By the time it got dark on Sunday, February 26, it was claimed that the results from Jigawa State had taken the place of those from the following voting units in the Aboh Mbaise LGA: Community Schools Okwu Na Akuwa, Ndigbo, and Egbelu, Umumbie Hall, Umunobi Umuoshi Village Hall, Umuorobara Hall, Egbelu Ndiegbo Hall, Umuaghara Hall, and Umueke Hall.
