A clinical specialist, Urenna Iroegbu, has kicked the bucket after a business vehicle which she was in drove against traffic , causing a mishap along Onne Road, Port Harcourt .
The occurrence happened scarcely two days after she finished her National Youth Service Corps program .
The PUNCH discovered that Iroegbu moved on from Imo State University a year ago in the wake of going through eight years considering medication.
On Saturday , she boarded a Toyota Sienna business vehicle to Akwa Ibom State yet never made it home .
The vehicle she was in was said to have driven against traffic soon after an overwhelming precipitation around 4pm.
A lorry, which had the option to proceed, was said to have smashed into the vehicle which Iroegbu was in.
A cop disclosed to The PUNCH , " There were two Sienna Toyota minivans headed towards Akwa Ibom . Around Daewoo simply long Onne Road, a trailer had stalled on their path so they chose to drive against traffic .
" One of the Sienna minivans was the vehicle where the specialist was in. A lorry which had the option to proceed didn't see them on time , lost control and slammed into them . Great Samaritans took them to a clinic. Three of them were taken to Sonabel Hospital around the trailer park while Dr Iroegbu was moved to Morning Star Hospital, Onne. She passed on at 12 PM . "
The Sector Commander , Federal Road Safety Corps , Rivers State Command, Ayodele Kumapayi , disclosed to The PUNCH that the issue was accounted for at the Onne Divisional Police Headquarters.
The leader said , " The issue was not answered to the FRSC however the police at Onne affirmed it. "
In the interim , companions have taken to web-based social networking to grieve the clinical specialist.
A companion of the perished , Martha Udoka , who posted photos of the expired on Facebook , communicated trouble over the occurrence.
