Manchester United won the Carabao cup trophy on Sunday after beating Newcastle United 2-0 at Wembley Stadium. The Red Devils are back in action against West Ham United in FA Cup as they look to progress to the quarter-finals.
Erik Ten Hag was asked about how his Manchester United squad has coped with congested fixtures and workloads after playing an incredible eight games in 28 days in three competitions which includes the Carabao cup, premier league, and Europa League.
Erik Ten Hag claims that Manchester United has the mentality to cope with congested fixtures. He also claimed that his Manchester United side is ambitious which gives them the energy to play games.
He was asked if they can still play a couple of games given that they are still in all competitions and they are likely to play more than 25 games should they progress through to the final in all both Europa League and FA cup, and he answered by saying that Manchester United has players that can handle the load physically.
