Following the upcoming gubernatorial elections in the country, Ossai Ovie Success, who serves as a special assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Media, has taken to social media in order to offer some advice to the supporters of Peter Obi, who is running for president in 2023.
Ossai Ovie Success, who provided such counsel on his official Facebook page, stated that Peter Obi is the only credible candidate in the Labour Party and that the momentum of the "Obidients" is only for the former governor of Anambra State, and not for all of the candidates running for the opposition party. Ossai Ovie Success's comments were made public.
In a subsequent statement, Ossai Ovie Success stated that;
"It's a known fact that you love Peter Obi, but that shouldn't be an excuse for you to ignore other Labour Party candidates or vote against them. The vast majority of them are not credible, electable, reliable, or capable of altering the unfavorable climate in their respective states. I am sure that the current state of the nation is not making any of you happy, and I share your sentiments exactly. The APC is to blame for our current predicament, and we are all irate about it ".
In his subsequent comments, Ossai Ovie Success stated that the governorship candidate for the Delta State Labour Party "is not experienced and competent," and he added that the voters shouldn't use vexation as an excuse to vote for someone who is incompetent.
Ossai Ovie Success concluded his prayer by requesting that the supporters of Peter Obi abstain from voting for any candidate of the Labour Party who is unable to improve the current state of affairs in their state.
