During his interview with AriseTV, Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, reacted to claims that the Labour Party Lagos State Gubernatorial Candidate, Rhodes-Vivour, doesn't have the experience to lead a state like Lagos.
Mr. Peter Obi stated that the same thing was about him when he was campaigning to become the Governor of Anambra State. He revealed that prior to his campaign, he has never worked in the Government, I have never had anything to do with government, just like Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour. He was also the same age with him. He noted that the only experience some politicians have is the experience of corruption and stealing, and that it is good to bring in someone who doesn't have experience so he can clean up Tuesday mess.
Mr. Peter Obi said;
“The only thing experience they can claim is the same experience of corruption, experience of stealing, experience of doing the wrong thing. Infact, at times it is good to bring someone who doesn't have that experience so he can clean up the mess. I came in without that experience, and when they wanted to teach me that experience, I told them that they are wrong”.
