Eight political parties in Niger State have declared support for the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Niger East senatorial candidate Mohammed Sani Musa.
The Social Democratic Party of Nigeria (SDP), the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the National Rescue Movement (NRM), the Labour Party (LP), the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the All People's Party (APP), ACCORD, and the Action Democratic Party (ADP) are among the parties.
The G8 spokesman, Yakubu Aliyu Ibrahim, said they are collapsing their structure for Sani Musa because he performed admirably during his first term, developed into a powerful voice, and attracted numerous projects for the state when announcing their support for the APC candidates in Minna on Friday.
They claimed that they had chosen Tinubu as their preferred candidate for president because they have confidence in his ability to keep his word. According to The Nation.
We are not the only ones present; our state chairmen, local chairmen, local executives, polling unit executives, and chairmen of all other executives have accepted and endorsed the decision. We didn't come up with this arrangement alone; others did as well.
We have decided to support eminent Senator Mohammed Sani Musa as our senatorial candidate, and we have merged our structures into one powerful structure that will serve as Sani Musa's mirror. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been chosen as our top choice for president in the 2023 elections, he added.
