Manchester United's Next Five Matches in All Competitions: Including Dates and Nigerian Time

Manchester United's next five matches could make or break their season as well as test their title credentials. The English side would be playing all of their next five games in October and they would come up against the likes of Rafa Benitez's Everton, a free-flowing Atalanta, who are top of Manchester United's Champions League group, arch-rival Liverpool, Leicester City, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester United would be seeking to continue their recovery from back-to-back defeats against Everton after their hard-fought 2-1 triumph against Villarreal. The 20-time Premier League winners would come up against the Merseyside club tomorrow (Saturday) by 12:30 pm Nigerian time. The match would be played at Old Trafford and it is Manchester United's fourth home match in a row in all competitions.

After the match against Everton, the international break would take effect. However, there are plans for Manchester United to play a friendly match during the international break. The opponent is yet to be disclosed. After the international break, Manchester United would be back in Premier League action when they play against Leicester City away from home on Saturday, 16th of October, 2021. The match would be played by 3 pm Nigerian time.

After the Leicester City match, Manchester United would face Atalanta of Italy in another home Champions League match on Wednesday, 20th of October by 8 pm Nigerian time. The match would most likely decide the team that would sit atop Group F come the end of Champions League matchday 3.

On Sunday, 24th of October, Manchester United would host Liverpool in a crunch English Premier League tie by 4:30 Nigerian time. Manchester United would be in search of their first league win against Liverpool since 2018; a spell spanning six games.

Manchester United would then round up October by playing against Tottenham Hotspur away from home on Saturday, 30th of October by 5:30 pm Nigerian time. Tottenham Hotspur has not defeated Manchester United at their (Tottenham's) home since 2018 and the Manchester club would be hoping history repeats itself in this time.
