SWE vs KOS: Match Prediction, Team News & Kickoff Time

Sweden will be seeking to bounce back when they face Kosovo in a 2022 World Cup qualifier in Europe's Group B. Both teams are coming off losses, with Sweden in second place with nine points and Kosovo in fourth place with four points.

With Spain away on Nations League duty, Sweden has two games in hand heading into this match. Two wins will put them on top. They fell 2-1 against Greece in their last match, only their second loss in the last ten matches.

Sweden, on the other hand, hasn't had a clean sheet in their last five games, all of which have yielded more than two goals. They have six wins and six clean sheets in ten World Cup qualification matches, and they have only failed to score in two of them. They have won seven straight games at home in the qualifiers, keeping five clean sheets and going undefeated in eight.

Kosovo is coming off a 2-0 loss to Spain in their previous match. If they lose here, their chances of competing in the 2022 World Cup will be in jeopardy, and they must improve their defence to avoid this. They've given up nine goals in five games in this group, haven't scored more than one goal in any of their last five games, and have only failed to score in one of those five games.

Kosovo has conceded two goals in two of their previous five matches, and they have three losses in five World Cup qualifying matches. They've also conceded two or more goals in three of their previous five matches, and they've lost five of their last seven qualifiers away from home. That victory over Georgia also marked the team's first clean sheet away from home in World Cup qualifiers.

Sweden are clear favourites here, and given their home form in World Cup qualifiers over Kosovo's, I don't think the hosts will have any problems. They've also had a stronger scoring streak, but their defence needs to improve. In this match, I believe Sweden will easily defeat Kosovo.

Kickoff Time: The game will go down on Friday at 5PM Nigerian time.
