It is no longer news that there has been a form of squabble ever since the Southern governors raised a communique that the next president of Nigeria must come from the South, what's news now is that the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has today stated that anyone who doesn't want a Northerner to take over power from President Buhari come 2023 should leave the country.

Narrating further, the group through its spokesman, Hakeem Baba Ahmed claimed that they wouldn't play a second fiddle in the upcoming 2023 election because they have the population that will help them remain in power in 2023.

However, the last straw that broke the camel's back was when Baba said that the North will begin the process of reviving their economy from 2023, and this very statement was what drew my attention because the 2023 election hasn't even commenced yet the NEF is making such sensitive claims.
Following the recent statement of NEF ahead of 2023 my question is; How sure is Baba that a Northerner will take over from President Buhari come 2023 in order to begin the process of reviving the Northern economy?

However, I strongly assume that Baba is just making pure speculations ahead of the 2023 presidency considering the fact that the North has what it takes when it comes to population and votes, and because some Northern governors had earlier insisted that the North still have extra 4 years to be in power.
What are your thoughts on the above question?
