As the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi vow to challenge the outcome of the just concluded Presidential election in court, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders in Abia State, and Chairman Governing Council, Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State, Senator Chris Adighije, has advice Peter Obi to congratulate the winner of the presidential poll, because it will endear him more to the hearts of his supporters who are popularly knowns as Obidients.
Senator Adighije made the statement while speaking with the newsmen on Sunday in Abuja which was made available by Daily Post Newspapers.
According to the statement from the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders in Abia State, Senator Chris Adighije, and I quote, "I will appeal that he (Obi) congratulates the winner of the presidential poll as l believe sincerely that such a good gesture would endear him more to the hearts of the Obidient Movement and Nigeria at large.He also calls the eminent political sons and daughters of the South East political extraction to call their son, Peter Obi on the need to see the bigger picture for the interest of Ndi Igbo and Nigerians.
He also congratulates the leader of my party, the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and also will use this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for his forthrightness and resilience in the election.
