President Buhari hosts Mohamed Bazoum, New Niger President
It has been reported that the new president of the Niger Republic is presently in the Aso Rock villa after being invited by President Muhammadu Buhari. Report revealed that the Niger President, Mohamed Bazoum, was accompanied to the presidential villa by some Northen governors.
The new Niger President, Mohamed Bazoum, was elected into office on April 2, 2021. It is believed that Niger Republic shares border with some northern states in Nigeria and his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari is to discuss the Relationship between the two countries.
Governor Wike said he is prepared to face any challenges after office
The governor of River State, Nyesom Wike has said that he knows that some Nigerian politicians will come for him after he leaves office in 2023 but he is not scared to face anybody because he is well prepared for them. He added that some politicians may try to challenge him after he hands over power in 2023 due to the statements he has made during his term as a governor but he is not scared of any body.
He said those who want to challenge him now cannot do so because he is currently in power but after he leaves office they will try to fight him but he is ready for any attacks.
Pastor Adeboye: Prayer can end banditry in Nigeria
The general overseer of RCCG has stated that the only way the issue of Banditry can be solved in Nigeria is through prayer. He added that prayer is a very strong weapon which can be used to fight any form of criminal activities in Nigeria and it should be used to end Banditry.
Pastor Adebody made this statement during a visit to Ekiti State governor, he also condemned the abduction of some traditional rulers in the southern part of Nigeria.
