You’re Very Dependable – Tinubu Tells Wike

President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, told Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State that he is very dependable.

Tinubu spoke in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital before he commissioned some projects in the State.

He thanked Wike for the support he gave him during the February 25 Presidential election, adding he would not have won Rivers State without the governor’s structural support.

Governor Wike, you are very dependable. It is an honour and privilege to be in your presence today,” Tinubu said.

“I am very happy to be in your presence today. I say thank you for your contribution to my victory.

“I could not have done it without your structural support. You promoted justice, thank you.”

President-elect Bola Tinubu has arrived in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, to commission some projects executed by Governor Nyesom Wike.

Obi Crossing Line With His Accusations–APC

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC said the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi is crossing the line with his accusations in the recent times.

The National Publicity Secretary of the ruling APC, Felix Morka stated this while speaking in an interview on Arise Television on Wednesday.

Recall that Obi had consistently accused the APC and its supporters of attacking his personality over the petition he filed against the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the election Tribunal.

But, Morka described the accusations of the the Labour Party presidential candidate as ridiculous.


How Wike Contributed To My Victory–Tinubu

The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, thanked Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State for contributing to his victory at the February 25 presidential poll.

DAILY POST reports that Tinubu, who spoke on Wednesday, while commissioning the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover in Port Harcourt, explained that Wike’s insistence that the presidency must return to the Southern party of the country was part of the factor that guaranteed his victory.

The President-elect described Wike as a man of integrity who abandoned his personal interest for the interest of the nation.

According to the former Lagos governor, despite the rumours and speculation peddled against him during the electioneering season, Wike stood by his conviction.

He said, “Nyesom, I say thank you for your contribution to my victory. I couldn’t have done this without some structural support. In Wike, I see a man of principle.

A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Buba Galadima, has responded to a recent claim by President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesperson, Femi Adesina, that his principal would leave Nigeria better than he met it in 2015 in terms of security and the economy.

Adesina had, in a statement on Sunday, claimed Buhari would not be leaving Nigeria the way he met it.

Reacting, Galadima prayed for God to visit Adesina with what the common people suffer daily in Nigeria.

Galadima said on Arise Television’s Morning Show program on Wednesday, “We wish that he (Buhari) could have kept the country (as he met it) on May 29, 2015. We could have clapped for him and escorted him to Daura or wherever he intends to live after leaving office.
