.It is said that Gov Wike has praised the APC governors for pushing for the presidency to be relocated to the south after President Buhari's term ends, and that as stated by Vanguard Newspaper, while he was stating that the PDP discarding zoning led to their loss in the 2023 elections, he said the APC governors are my heroes.

It was their intention to come out openly to the world, to Nigerians, to make them aware that the unity of the country is paramount to the country's development.

They all said, "We have had it for eight years in the north, let's let it go south for eight years so we can have harmony, peace and unity."

It has now been established that governor Wike has shown his happiness at the fact that the presidency has been shifted to the Southern region after INEC declared that APC presidential aspirant has won the presidential election for 2023.
