Everyone Is In Doubt, Both The Election Winners And Losers Want To Inspect The BVAS — Shehu Sani

The Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the House of Senate, Shehu Sani, has said that the 2023 Nigerian Presidential Election which was conducted by INEC has left everybody in doubt.

The vocal Senator and human rights activist made this known in a message that he passed on through his verified Twitter account, in the late hours of Tuesday.

Senator Shehu Sani made this statement, while reacting to the conduct of the Presidential election, and the subsequent court cases that the Labour Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), filed against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), requesting to be be granted access to inspect the election results uploaded in the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).

The human rights activist said that both those that lost the election and those that won wants to inspect INEC materials.

In his words, "Those who lost wants to inspect Inec materials. Those who won wants to inspect Inec materials. Everyone is left in doubt.The phase of seeing is believing."

A three-member panel of the appellate court adjourned its sitting to Wednesday (today), to decide on the merit of application that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) filed to be allowed to reconfigure the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), that was used in the Presidential election.

The court will also decide on the merit of the application filed by the Political Parties to inspect the equipments used in the February 25th election.
