The General Overseer of Living Faith Church, which is also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has revealed why he can no longer give money to God in cash.
In a video on the official Facebook page of Winners Chapel, the man of God said that he has never been under any pressure in his giving life. He said that when he was in Winners Chapel at Kaduna, he told the congregation that a time was coming when people would not be able to lift their offering, so he encouraged them to learn how to write a check or put their offering in an envelope. Oyedepo said, "I can no longer give money to God in cash because it will be too embarrassing. I could have lifted my offering in the past, but now I can't." This implies that the envelope may not be able to contain the cash. He further said that he started small and that his offering has increased. He said, "Start from where you are; you are a candidate for His wealth." The Bible says in Job 8:7, "Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase."
