The APC candidate won the recently ended presidential election in Nigeria, defeating the LP and APC candidates in the process. After it was discovered that Bola Tinubu had received the most votes, nearly 7 million, the INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu proclaimed him the president-elect.
In reaction to this result, many supporters of Labour Party weren't satisfied and urged Peter Obi, the candidate of LP to address the issue of rigging during election.
Recently, Peter Obi took to his Twitter handle to assure Nigerians that he'll address them very soon. According to his post, "Our Vice presidential candidate Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed is addressing an international press conference at the Labour Party Headquarters in Abuja. I intend to address Nigerians and the international community shortly."
These were some reactions to his post on Twitter,
@TheoAbuAgada: "We are waiting".
@LabelleWinny: "I'm about to start crying again".
@I_Am_Winter: "We are waiting for our true President".
@kofighozt: "Obi is loved".
