Two young men have reportedly died mysteriously in the same hospital in Edo State as miniature coffins and other fetish items were discovered in their respective homes.
The lady explained that a 25-year-old mechanic named Ebafor Abiye who was popular in the area, was having a chat with his aunt when he suddenly began screaming about 'money' and a man named Alex who he accused of being a bad friend. The man soon began vomiting and was rushed to the hospital where he continued to speak gibberish.
Not long after, a man named Alex, a 36-year-old commercial bike rider was also rushed to the same hospital by his wife while screaming and vomiting as well.
Both men were said to be exhibiting the same symptoms at the hospital and eventually died four minutes apart from each other.
Meanwhile, the wife of the bike rider who had returned home while her husband was in the hospital discovered a small coffin and other fetish items hidden in a corner of the house.
The alarm she raised led to the mechanic's house being searched and similar fetish items were reportedly found, causing member of the community to believe that both men had engaged in money-making rituals which had obviously backfired, leading to their deaths.
