Yesterday, the spokesperson to the former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Dino Melaye, reacted to an old tweet of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, which was made during the protest against police brutality in Nigeria that took place in 2020.
Recall that in 2020 during the protest against police brutality, it was reported that some peaceful demonstrators were killed at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos State, as this was backed up by some video clips that were circulated online, as Chief Femi Fani-Kayode who was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party then, accused four persons of killing the peaceful protesters, even though he later defected to the All Progressives Congress and worked for Chief Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was among the four persons he accused them.
Femi fani-kayode in the tweet he shared then said that, President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Vice-President Yemi Osibanjo, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, were responsible for the killings and they will pay a heavy price for what they did.
However while Senator Dino Melaye, was reacting to Femi Fani-Kayode's old tweet, he said that people should give him two reasons why a reasonable and sensible person should take Femi Fani-Kayode seriously.
He said, "Give me two reasons and explain one, why any reasonable, sensible, rational and logical person should take this psychotic, irreversible and irredemable lunatic seriously ? Omase ooo"
