Federal High Court Clears Taraba APC Governorship candidate to participate in the election.
According to AiT live, A Federal High Court sitting in the Taraba State capital, Jalingo has confirmed Senator Emmanuel Bwacha as the authentic candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the March 18 Governorship Election.
According to AiT Live, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha filed a suit against the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to challenge the electoral umpire for not including his name as the governorship candidate of the APC in Taraba State.
After Emmanuel Bwacha won the party's run-off primary election for governor on February 10, there has been discussion on whether INEC should recognise him as the candidate for governor of the All Progressive Congress (APC). AiT Live report.
The court ruling clears the way for Bwacha to run in the March 18 governor's race and puts to rest rumours that Taraba All Progressive Congress (APC) might not have a candidate in the 2023 governor's race.
