EDO 2020: Obaseki denies destroying Ize Iyamu's billboards

The governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki denies that he did not destroy the campaign billboards of All Progressive Congress, APC Governorship aspirant, Osagie Ize Iyamu.

Governor Godwin Obaseki, will contest for re election under the platform of People's Democratic party, PDP. He is billed to face Ize Iyamu of APC and candidates from other parties come September 19 Governorship election.

In a statement on Saturday by governor Obaseki's Special Adviser on Communication and strategy, Crusoe Osegie, said Obaseki is unperturbed with the false allegations against him by faint hearted politician."

Osagie added that, the allegations against his Boss is baseless and unfounded. It is Ize Iyamu ways or antics to gain unnecessary attention, he said. He added that, the billboards are intact, he just wants to score cheap goal or popularity.

It will be recalled that, Obaseki defected from All Progressive Congress, APC to People's Democratic party, PDP, because of his disqualification from APC by APC led Panel saddled with the objective of bringing out APC flag bearer in the forthcoming election.
