I bring to you all latest Chelsea Injury News and return date ahead of Sheffield United clash, after a 1-0 win to Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane stadium on Thursday.
Chelsea has been in a good form since they took the decision of replacing there head coach with Thomas Tuchel in the club, which has seen them won two of there last three match's in the premier league recently.
Victory against Spurs has seen them move to sixth on the premier league table and just four points behind Liverpool. They have kept three straight clean sheet under there new boss, but there was a big blow for the London club as there Brazilian star player was taken off in the 36th minutes of the game.
There was also some good news for the manager as Kante returned from injury and was involved in Tottenham match, which he entered in the 74th minutes to shore up the Chelsea midfield.
*. Thiago Silva: This is a big blow for Chelsea following the victory against Spurs, after the player was out of the game in the first half. The defender expertly intercepted a through ball by Tottenham when they wanted to equalize the game, but in doing so he picked up a muscular injury.
The central back try to play with the injury for some time before hobbling out and not to return in the game again. After the match Chelsea manager gave an update on his injury, by saying that he is not sure if he will be involve in the Sunday Match because it's too early for him.
It will be hard to give a diagnosis because i just saw him very quickly in the dressing room with big strap on his muscle, so don't think that he will play on sunday, said Tuchel.
2. Hakim Ziyech: he was not involved in Chelsea both match against Burnley and Tottenham, he was not in the lineup against Burnley because of injury but was fit to make the substitute bench on Thursday night, which he did not play. The fact he was named in the match day squad means that he has returned to full fitness, and will be ready for selection on sunday.
3. Zouma and Havertz: the two Chelsea stars was a doubt ahead of Spurs game and both of them was not fit enough to make the match day squad.
They picked up injuries during the training session ahead of their game against Tottenham, but will hopefully return to the team to face the blades on sunday evening.
4. Hudson-Odoi and Kovacic: both players was substituted against Spurs with a slight knock, but the changing was for tactical reasons so that there will not be further damage. They are fit to face Sheffield United tomorrow.
