APGA Governorship Candidate Declared Wanted Over Murder Of Monarch In Ebonyi State

Ifeanyi Odoh, the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), has been declared wanted by the police in Ebonyi State over the gruesome murder of a traditional ruler of Umuezekoha Community in Ezza North, Eze Christopher Igboke Ewa. 

According to reports, Eze Christopher Igboke Ewa was shot dead by an assassin around 8:30pm on Monday, the 27th of February in his palace. 

According to Onome Onovwakpoyeya, the command’s spokesperson, in a statement on Monday, the 6th of March, 2023, Mr Odoh alongside nine others were declared wanted for the murder of the traditional ruler.

According to the police, the nine other suspects are Chika Ezealigbo, Chukwudi Aliewa (aka Ezza), Peter Orogwu (aka one boy), Samuel Onyekachi Aligwe, Ikechukwu Nwoba (aka Solid), Nonso Obasi, Ogobuchi Agbom (aka Okiri) Nnabuike Okohu and Nnaemeka Egede (aka Champaign).

In the statement, members of the public who have information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect were urged to contact the police.
