Barcelona eyes January loan move for Donny Van De Beek

According to reports, Barcelona are rumoured to be considering a January loan move for Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.

The 24-year-old has failed to make an impact at the Old Trafford after his £35m move to the Premier League giants back in August 2020.

The situation looks bleak for the former Ajax star with just five minutes of top flight action under his belt so far in the current campaign.

La Blaugrana are looking to make use of their connection to the Dutch international through his National teammate Frenkie de Jong, according to reports from Diario AS.

The duo were part of the Ajax team which reached the 2018/19 Champions League semi finals before going their separate ways.

Both players also share an agent, Ali Dursun, with van de Beek determined to leave United in the 2022 winter window, according to the report.

With finances still tight at the Camp Nou, the Spanish giants are only able to offer a loan move, but Red Devils could insist on a purchase clause at the end of the season.
