The Lagos State Ambulance Service has received Mobile Intensive Care Units and transport ambulances, which were procured by the Lagos State Government. The aim of this initiative, led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is to enhance the medical emergency and pre-hospital care services in the state. The Lagos State Ministry of Health released a brief statement regarding this matter.
“His administration has also completed the construction of five LASAMBUS operational bases at General Hospital Lagos, General Hospital Ikorodu, Lagos University Hospital, General Hospital Badagry and the Eti-Osa Maternal and Child Centre.
“Continous training and capacity building for LASAMBUS staff and first responders have also been given the priority it deserves. Evidently, emergency response time has greatly reduced,” the statement added.
