Super Eagles of Nigeria dazzler, Henry Onyekuru was in action on Wednesday night for Olympiacos in their 3rd game of the Greece Super League against Apollon Smyrnis at the Karaiskaki Stadium.
The Nigerian star was handed a role to play in his team's starting XI following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous game and he was able to impress.
Henry Onyekuru was at top notch as he started the game alongside Aguibou Camara and Giorgos Masouras behind Tiquinho Soares who played as the main man, and they were all able to shine with Masouras and Soares getting on the score sheet which was instrumental in the 4-1 win of the night.
Giorgos Masouras put his side ahead in the 8th minute to make it one nil which was the only goal that separated the two sides going into the half time break.
In the second half of the game, the host were able to double their lead in the 47th minute with a goal from Tiquinho Soares to make it two nil before he was able to make it three in the 72nd minute with his brace of the night.
The visitor in the 79th minute were able to put one back as a consolation goal as Abiola Dauda got on the score sheet to make it three goals to one before Marios Vrousai made it four for the host in the 87th minute.
After several attempts from both ends to add more to the tally of the night, all were not successful as it ended four goals to one at full time.
The win of the night for Olympiacos has now taken them to the top of the table with 7 points in 3 games played and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture, so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
