Stay indoors if you won’t vote PDP – Fred Ajudua
A video of Barrister Fred Ajudua asking certain voters in Delta to stay away from polling units during the state election has emerged.

Ajudua, from Ibusa in Oshimili North Local Government Area, directed his warning to opponents of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Addressing a gathering in Igbo and English, the legal practitioner declared the area belongs to the PDP, the ruling party.
“We must vote PDP two over two (sic). This is Igbuzor…Igbuzor intersection. Vote for only PDP. If you know you don’t want to vote PDP, stay in your house,” he said. With around one million population, Igbuzor, also known as Ibusa, is a Delta community dominated by Igbo. Some people in the crowd cheered as Ajudua gave his speech.
Obasanjo Shuns Polling Unit After Loss In Presidential Election
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Saturday, failed to exercise his civic duty in the ongoing governorship and House of Assembly elections in Ogun State.

He was absent on election day at his polling unit 22 ward 11, Olusomi compound, Totoro, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the State. Obasanjo cast his vote at the same polling unit during the February 25 presidential election, but Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated Peter Obi of the Labour Party whom he endorsed.
When our correspondent visited the place on Saturday, it was gathered that the former President was not on the ground. Obasanjo’s Media Aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, said the elder statesman had traveled out of the country 10 days before the election.
Gov Election 2023: INEC officials ‘refuse’ to conduct the election at VGC PUs
Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission have reportedly “refused” to go into the Victoria Garden City area in Lagos State for the conduct of the governorship and State House of Assembly elections in the area on Saturday.

A video shared on Twitter by @Vakkane1 showed the officials sitting under a tent outside the area. The tweep captioned the tweet, “INEC officials refused to go inside VGC where the polling units are distributed insisting that they were instructed to stay outside VGC for the voting.”
The chairman of the VGC while reporting on Arise TV, said, “We are hearing that due to some security concerns during the presidential election, the polling units have been moved outside the community. “The problem we’re having as residents is that there’s no formal communication that this is going to be done.
Makinde wins at ex-Gov Ladoja’s polling unit
The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party, has won at the polling unit of former Governor Rashidi Ladoja.

The PUNCH reports that there has been a widespread rumor that Ladoja was not in support of the second-term ambition of Makinde, a rumor which was publicly debunked by the ex-governor.
The PDP polled 98 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress’ candidate, Teslim Folarin, who scored 35 votes at unit 17, ward 10 in the Ibadan North Local Government Area of the state.
