How Women's Super League Golden Boot Race Looks After Week 15

The Golden Boot Race in the Women's Super League has always between Chelsea and Arsenal Women's Player but gradually, it feels like this season will lead us to something much different after Match Day 15 games were concluded

Through out last season, City's Khadija Shaw couldn't score more than 9 goals but this season has been pretty different for her with her great form and brave approach in playing multiple role for Man City Women's Team. The Jamaican breed has been able to put 15 goals in the oppositions' net this season, demonstrating a new role for midfielders after playing just 15 games. The midfielder score her 14th and 15th goals against Tottenham Hotspur in City's 1-2 win over the weekend. However, the Jamaican doesn't look like she's going to step down this season, she might just be claiming the prestigious individual Award this season.

Racheal Daly of Aston Villa is another huge revelation this season, with a massive performance and over 10 goals this season, she remains a force to reckon with in the league this season. After scoring 11 goals in 15 league matches, Daly remains a major threat to Khadija Shaw, trailing her by just 4 goals. The Aston Villa star has been very instrumental to Villa's consistency this season and could as well go for the Golden Boot prize.

Man United's Russo has been the talk of town since she's been linked with a move to Big European Club sides. The midfield is also in the mix for the award of the highest goal scorer after scoring 8 goals in the league this season. Although the United star is trailing City's Khadija by 7 goals but she still stand a huge chance in turning the Table around, going by the motivation she's receiving from the media currently as regard her world record proposed move out of United. She remains a force and could be the winner this season

Last season's winner, Samantha Kerr of Chelsea is just 8 goals away from the table Leader. Nevertheless, she has done surprises in previous years but with just 8 games for Chelsea to go this season, Kerr might just have to forget about contesting for the Golden Boot Award. Since the season started, Khadija Shaw has been fantastic and had played all City's game this season. With just 7 games to play in the season, she may just have acquired the much talked about Golden Boot.
