The General Overseer of Christ Embassy Church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has revealed why he prayed against the 2023 census in Nigeria.
In a video on the Christ Embassy Facebook page, the man of God said that it is the responsibility of Christians who preach the gospel to know the population of the world. Oyakhilome said, "In Nigeria, they were preparing for the 2023 census, and I told God that the census should not hold. I don't want the census to hold because they are trying to lie to us. They will spend money to count but will give us the wrong number." Oyakhilome further said that after he cancelled the census in the name of Jesus, he heard that the president had approved the postponement of the census. Oyakhilome said, "We want genuine counting to be done." He also said that those who are involved in the work of God must do it in an acceptable way.
