Arsene Wenger, the former manager of Arsenal Football Club has given Liverpool no chance of winning the Premier League title this season.
The race to win the title for the 2020/2021 English Premiere League (EPL) is getting interesting every match day with Manchester City leading the pack with 53 points from 23 matches played so far. Their closest rival being Leicester City with 46 points from 24 matches played.
Wenger, was speaking on the backdrop of Liverpool's away loss to Leicester 3:1 on Saturday as he said the Red's chances of catching Manchester City is “impossible”.
While managing Arsenal, he won 3 EPL titles and he feels the defending champion will not be able catch up the gap after playing 24 games.
The Frenchman was asked whether he feels Liverpool are still in the title race, he told beIN SPORTS “No, I don’t think so". He went further to analyze that Man City are 10 points ahead of Liverpool with a game in hand which they might probably win to increase the points to 13. With 14 games to go, be believes Liverpool's chances are "impossible"
