Peter Obi comments on not telling Atiku before leaving the PDP for the Labour Party

In an interview with Channels TV, the Labour Party presidential candidate commented on not telling Atiku before leaving the PDP for the Labour Party.

Recall that on Friday, Atiku Abubakar told Channels TV that Peter Obi does not inform him before leaving the PDP party. To confirm that, Seun Okinbaloye asked Peter Obi if he informed Atiku before leaving the party or not.

In response to that, Peter Obi said that Atiku Abubakar remains his respected elder brother and his comment is true that he did not inform him before leaving PDP for the Labour Party.

Peter Obi stated that he did not inform him and other respected people in his life, including his family. He said there is a time in a man's life that you will make a decision that you consider appropriate for your own future. You will do it without informing people so that they don't talk you out of it. He said that is what he did to the best of his future and the future of Nigeria.

Peter Obi said that is why when he left PDP, he said that he would rather do the right thing and fail than do the wrong thing and succeed, and that is what he did. He added that he took that decision because he did not in any way inconvenience or affect anybody other than himself.
