While speaking, during the church February thanksgiving Service tagged Sunrise, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, celebrated his 40th anniversary. As the General Overseer of the RCCG.

He expressed gratitude to the late Pa Josiah Akindayomi, the founder of the church. For finding him worthy. He said that the path so far has been marked by times of suffering, misery, sorrow, and betrayal.

He said he thank God that late Pa Josiah Akindayomi, heard from God because of all the people who were qualified to be the General Overseers, he was the least qualified. 

The service tag Sunrise is a celebration for all First-Born of the beginning of the New Year. A time of joy and a new beginning.

 "He said, "For you firstborn, a new beginning of glory starts now in Jesus Name. Sunrise spells joy. In the Name that is above every other Name, your joy begins now. 

One word for this outstanding man of God, as he marked his 40th anniversary as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG.
