The former governor of Central Bank Of Nigeria, Professor Charles Soludo was allegedly attacked yesterday by gunmen who wanted to murder him but after their failed attempt on his life ended up killing three of his security personnel.
The attention of the security personnel and well-meaning Anambrarians are drawn to that attack because the gubernatorial election of the state will be coming up very soon and this kind of mishap is a threat to a free, fair, and credible election.
The former Governor of the State, Peter Obi has taken to his Twitter page to condemn the attack on the former CBN Governor Stating that the culprits should be fished out to serve as a lesson to others who may want to trend on that part.

The security alertness of the state should be doubled to curb all forms of lawlessness by hoodlums who will want to cause mayhem before and during the gubernatorial election coming up in November.
Dear readers, what do you think about the attack on the former CBN boss, Professor Charles Soludo?
Was it orchestrated by political ambitions or just random kidnappers?
