I Am Appealing To Peter Obi And Atiku To Let Us Team Up And Make Nigeria A Great Country - Tinubu

It's no longer a news that Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, has been declared the winner of the just concluded presidential election. After polling 8,794,726 votes to win the 2023 presidential election, Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, was declared the president-elect to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in the month of May at the International Collation Centre in Abuja in the early hours of Wednesday, by INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu.

However, the president elect while delivering his acceptance speech in Abuja appealed to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar to please work with him to make Nigeria great again. As he accepts the mandate to lead Nigeria for the next four year, he assured Nigerians that he would be our servants, and not our leader.

While appealing to Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, who happens to be the runner ups in the just concluded presidential election, Bola Tinubu said, "I have been elected as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. This is a serious mandate, I hereby accept it. I am ready to be your servant and not your leader, to work with you and make Nigeria a great country".

He continued, "I am appealing to Obi and Atiku to let us team up and make Nigeria a great country". "It is one country that we must build together. We work together to put broken pieces together and we must work for the unity, happiness of this great country".

What do you have to say about the just concluded presidential election? Do you think Bola Tinubu is the best leader out of the three major contenders to rule Nigeria for the next four years?
