Manchester United's pursuit of Brazil winger Antony who plays for Ajax is back on track according to a report by various news outlets.

According to the Mirror, one of the representatives of the Brazilian flew into Manchester on Thursday to discuss a deal for a possible transfer of the player.

The Eredivisie Champions value the Brazilian at £69m and may not budge down on their asking-price which means if the Red Devils want to sign him then they would have to spend that large amount in order to secure his transfer.

This report is coming after Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag said that he wants more signing at the club before the transfer window closes in September.

Ajax Amsterdam could may as well be preparing for life without the Brazilian after signing Francisco Conceicao from Porto who is viewed by many as a direct replacement for the Brazilian at the club.
