The Campaign Director General for the All Progressives Congress, APC in Katsina State has raised alarm over an alleged importation of Bandits and thugs from Kano and Zamfara State to disrupt the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.

In an interview with African International TV, AIT, the Katsina State Campaign DG, Ahmed Dangiwa narrated how not less than ten thousand PDP supporters decamped from their party to join APC ahead of the March 18 election. He disclosed that according to the defectors, they left because the opposition party has a better candidate for the governorship position.
He went further in the interview video to claim that the massive defection angered the opposition party and hence their secret plan to disrupt the election process and cause chaos on the March 18 election.

He alleged that PDP got these thugs from Kano and Zamfara state. He went ahead to call Zamfara State a home of bandits and hoped that they have not imported bandits as well to disorganise the election activities.
