Two entertaining matches went down in the English Premier League yesterday as Arsenal and Liverpool did well to claim important wins in the competition.
Arsenal kicked off action in the competition yesterday when they welcomed Everton to the Emirates Stadium in what seemed to be an easy game for the Gunners. The North Londoners put up an outstanding performance in the game as they secured a massive 4-0 victory over the Toffees thanks to Gabriel Martinelli's brace and goals from Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka.
Liverpool on the other hand bounced back to winning ways in the competition when they hosted Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Anfield Stadium. The Anfield Giants had a change of performance in the game as they convincingly defeated Wolves 2-0 thanks to strikes from Mohamed Salah and Vigil Van Dijk.
