Move is imminent as Chelsea inch closer to an agreement with Leverkusen over Havertz’s transfer fee

Another day, another update of transfer news, report from Christian Falk, on the possibility that the 21 year-old Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder, Kai Havertz joins Chelsea FC this summer.

Thursday’s news centres on Kai Havertz’s potential transfer fee. Christian Falk announced that the German Bundesliga outfit, Bayer Leverkusen are asking for a whopping €100million for their 21-year-old German attacker, Kai Havertz.

However, in a sign of the present economic climate during the corona virus pandemic, it’s claimed that Bayer Leverkusen are willing to agree that kind of money and it may only come in the form of add-ons or bonuses.

A week earlier, Bild traced how Chelsea FC plan to structure the deal to secure the service of the Germany international, Kai Havertz. Bild suggested that the Frank Lampard's side are willing to meet Bayer Leverkusen €100million asking price for Kai Havertz, however Chelsea FC are looking to structure the payment through instalments. The German outlet claimed that the Blues could offer €70million up front and €30million to 40million at a later date.

Now, according to the latest report from Christian Falk, it emerges that the Frank Lampard's side and Bayer Leverkusen are close to agreeing an ideals for Kai Havertz transfer.
