DONE DEAL: Manchester United Announce Their Second Signing of the Summer

The Red Devils have completed the signing of Free-agent midfielder, Christian Eriksen on a three-year deal.

The Denmark international becomes the Dutch tactician’s second summer acquistion after highly-rated left-back, Tyrell Malacia joined from Dutch outfit, PSV Eindhoven.

Following the expiration of his contract with Brentford, a number of Premier League teams, including the 30-year-old's ex-club Spurs, expressed interest in the creative playmaker.

Thomas Franck's Brentford had hoped to keep the Ex-Inter Milan Star longer than a short term deal in January, but Eriksen chose a move to the Threatre of Dreams instead.

The agreement's confirmation comes thirteen months after Eriksen had an in-game heart collapse at European Championship 202, during which the player, in his own words, "died for five minutes" on the field.

Seven months later, Eriksen made a stunning comeback to the top level of football with Brentford, and he played a key role in the team's strong finish to the campaign.

After turning them down while playing for Tottenham 3 years ago, Eriksen will now continue in the English top flight with United.
