I Look Forward To Working With Tinubu- UK Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak as congratulated Bola Tinubu, the president-elect in Nigeria on his victory at the poll.

Tinubu was declared the winner of Saturday’s presidential election on Wednesday morning. He polled 8,794,726 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who came second after polling 6,984,520 votes.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima over their victory at the just-concluded presidential election.

In a statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha, FEC expressed confidence that the incoming administration would build on the legacies of the outgoing one.

Group Asks INEC Chairman To Resign Before March 11

Acivic group, Movement For Democracy, has knocked the Nigerian electoral body, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the poor conduct of the 2023 general election. 

The group condemned INEC for lacking efficient plans to ensure the smooth conduct of Saturday's poll despite budgeting N305 billion for it.


Armed Herders Kill BSCVGs Members, 6 Others In Benue

A member of the Benue State Community Volunteer Guards, BSCVGs and six others have been reportedly killed by suspected armed herdsmen in a fresh attack on Tse Fela in Mbabuande Council Ward and Tse Akyegh in Ikaaghev Council Ward of Gwer West Local Government Area, LGA, of the state.

It was gathered that the BSCVG member who was killed in the attack was the Ward Commander of the Guards.
