Earlier today, the football governing body known as UEFA stated that they will refund tickets to the Liverpool fans who were affected by the difficulties in accessing the stadium last May.
Recall that in May, 2022, Liverpool made it to the final of the UEFA Champions League were they battled Spanish giant Real Madrid and lost, but unfortunately some of their (Liverpool) fans were not able to gain access.
Reports has it that about 19,618 fans of Liverpool were not able to access the stadium during the 2022 Champions League final last May, and now UEFA has promised to refund tickets to the fans that were affected.
This statement earlier by UEFA was shared on Social Media today being Tuesday, the 7th day of March, 2023, and it immediately sparked a lot of reactions from fans. See some of the reactions below.
