According to the Punch Newspaper, a former member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and a Nigerians actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, has declared his support for Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

He made this comment during an interview with Arise TV, where he noted that after leaving the APC due to the choice of Kashim Shettima as the vice presidential candidate of the political party, he has decided to dedicate his mind towards Mr Peter Obi.
He also noted that northern Muslims also support Christians, and people who say there is no northern support for Christians are not telling the truth.
Although he noted that he is interested in Mr Peter Obi, citing that Peter Obi provides stability in his ticket, he also made it clear that he has not joined the Labour Party or any other political party at the moment.
