It is no longer news that Pa Ayo Adebanjo, the leader of the pan Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere was in Ibadan with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi on Wednesday.
It would be recalled that yesterday, the former Anambra State governor took his campaign to Oyo State.
Reacting over the attendance of Pa Ayo Adebanjo at the campaign rally of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi in an interview with Channels Television, the governor of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Sule noted that he was not surprised that Ayo Adebanjo attended the rally.
According to him, Pa Ayo Adebanjo has stated consistently that he is with Peter Obi, so he's not surprised that he attended the campaign rally.
Hear him, "I think he has said that he was going to be with Peter Obi. There's no surprise, I don't know who will be surprised. I don't think anybody in APC leadership will be surprised. Some of the Afenifere leaders have also identified with Asiwaju. So if Asiwaju will go to Ibadan maybe tomorrow, the same people may come out and campaign for him"
