The Northern Elders Forum have advised Fulani herdsmen living in the south on what they should do regarding the ongoing crisis in the country.
Recall that the Ondo State governor had given an eviction notice to Fulani herdsmen to vacate the forest in Ondo State.
Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho also gave Fulani herdsmen in Ibarapa a 7-day quit notice to leave Oyo State following the rise of insecurity in the state.
Just yesterday, a group of women blocked major roads in a local government in Edo State protesting the incessant killings by criminal Fulani herdsmen and demanded that they leave Edo State.
Reacting to the ongoing crisis, the Northern Elders Forum advised Fulanis that are currently residing in the Southern Nigeria to relocate to the North.
According to Sahara Reporters, this advice came as a result of the alleged attack on Fulani herdsmen and their families in Southern Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement signed by NEF Director of Publicity and Advocacy, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, yesterday.
