Part of the activities of Fuji music stars in Nigeria for every year, is to take their music abroad during summer time. In fact, that has become an annual routine for most of the Fuji music stars such that, they hardly miss going on music tour to some European countries, United Arab Emirates, or United States of America, before any year comes to an end. Unfortunately, the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic late in the year 2019, through most part of the year 2020, and its attendant lockdown across the globe, prevented all Fuji music stars from taking their music abroad in the year 2020, unlike in the previous years.
And, since the pandemic had been contained and things began to normalize worldwide with all foreign traveling restrictions lifted, most of the Fuji music stars in Nigeria have all been scheming to return to the routine of taking their music abroad in the ongoing year 2021. But, most of them have not been able to achieve that target yet. However, there are three Fuji music stars who have been able to take their music abroad in the year 2021 already. And, one of them is Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Odetola popularly known as Pasuma.
Pasuma has been able to take his music to different countries in Europe in the year 2021. And, the European countries where Pasuma has gone to perform his brand of Fuji music in the ongoing year include: Turkey, Spain, France, Germany, Holland and Italy. Meanwhile, shortly after returning to Nigeria from touring those six European countries, Pasuma thereafter embarked on another tour of the United States of America where he was for a while, before returning to Nigeria a couple of days ago.
The second Fuji music star who has also been able to take his music abroad in the year 2021 is Alayeluwa Sulaiman Alao Adekunle who is popularly known as Malaika. The Qiblah of Fuji as Malaika is also called, was in the United Kingdom a couple of weeks ago to give his fans in that country a feel of his brand of Fuji music. And, after singing Fuji music to earn foreign currencies that were sprayed on him by his teeming fans in the United Kingdom as evident is one of the videos of his performances abroad which was posted on his verified Instagram handle, Malaika returned to Nigeria some days ago.
The third Fuji music star who has taken his music abroad in the year 2021 is Alhaji Taye Akande Adebisi popularly known as Taye Currency. The Ibadan, Oyo State based Fuji musician took his brand of Fuji music to England. And, from England his next stop on the tour was Turkey. Then, from Turkey, Taye Currency took his music to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to entertain his fans there. He returned to Nigeria afterwards; and he is said to be planning another tour to United States of America soon.
So, Pasuma, Malaika and Taye Currency, are the three Fuji music stars on record, to have taken their music abroad in the year 2021. But, that is not to say that, other Fuji stars apart from the three cannot still embark on their own foreign tours before the year 2021 runs out.
