PDP And APC Afraid, Jittery Over Peter Obi's Popularity - LP Deputy Chairman

The Deputy National Chairman of the Labour Party, Bashiru Apapa, has said that the growing popularity and acceptability of the party's flag bearer, Peter Obi, among the citizens of the country will pave a way for the party's victory in the 2023 presidential general election, said that PDP and APC are afraid of Peter Obi's popularity across every regions in the country.

Bashiru Apapa noted that since Peter Obi declared interest to contest for president, he has been receiving support from many governors and notable leaders across the country.

This is as he said that the citizens of the country are very tired of bad leadership from the rulling All Progressive Congress and opposition People Democratic party.

Bashiru Apapa made this statement in Ado Ekiti while speaking during a sensitisation programme for the members of Labour Party and various Peter Obi's support group in the State.

The Labour Party's Deputy Chairman said that APC and PDP are jittery of Peter Obi's sudden popularity after declaring interest in presidency, noting that the two parties (PDP and APC) are making Labour Party a target of criticism because they are scared of the growing support it is receiving from the citizens of the country who desperately want a change in the government.
