Ngolo Kante has proved he is a world-class player yet again last night after brilliant performance from the former Leicester midfielder against the ferocious Real Madrid. The match which ended in a 1-1 draw for the Blues should have been one with wide goal margin if chances created earlier in the first half were sufficiently utilized by Chelsea forward players.
Kante apparently covered the whole pitch area during the match and also had more passes completed (6) than any other Real Madrid players (5). Though, the absence of the highly dribbling and pressing Mateo Kovacic is felt by the whole team in moving forward, the essential work-rate of Kante nearly fill in for the felt absence.
However, Kante has been awarded Man of the Match for the team's Semi-Final first leg match against Real Madrid last night. This will be the second time the France international will be winning Man of the Match award in the UEFA Champions League this season.
