Nearly a week after the Presidential and National Assembly Elections in which the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president-elect, the Governor of Rivers State , His Excellency Nyesom Wike, has made his first public appearance where he reacted to the outcome of the election that saw Tinubu emerge as the winner, singing his popular song, "as e pain dem on Saturday, e sweet us."
During a Live Video Coverage by CHANNELS TELEVISION, he paid homage to the Governor of Oyo State, his Excellency, Seyi Makinde, a member of the G5 Governors, where he urged the people of the State to come out in large number and cast their votes for Makinde who is seeking for a re-election on March 11th, 2023.
He also told the people of the state that all they want to see is umbrella and no longer broom before he now burst into singing mood saying, when people were hurt by the outcome of the election conducted on February 25, it was joy and merriment for them.
In his words, he said:
"As E Pain Dem On Saturday, E sweet Us."
